Onin Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager for a growing produce company located in the greater McAllen area.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing all facility-related activities, and creating a well-maintained and

safe environment that supports the production and packaging and distribution of high-quality fresh products.

Facility Operations:

• Lead day-to-day operations of production facilities, including packing houses, ripening, sorting, storage

areas, and processing units.

• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure efficient facility workflows.
• Equipment Maintenance: ensure the maintenance, repair, and calibration of production equipment and machinery is

scheduled and maintained to ensure no business disruption.

• Compliance and Safety: ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for facilities and

equipment.

• Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective measures to mitigate potential risks.
• Implement sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact that align with Regional and Group goals
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination and address facility-related

requirements.

• Provide support for facility-related training programs for production staff.
• Execute and manage budgets for facility operations, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Optimize resource utilization without compromising the quality and safety of production processes.

• Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in the agricultural or food production industry.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in facility management.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
